May has been a month focused on industry insight, major project work, and exciting developments behind the scenes at North Automation Group as we continue building towards a very busy summer period.
North East Chamber of Commerce Engineering & Manufacturing Forum
Earlier this month, we attended the North East Chamber of Commerce Engineering & Manufacturing Forum, where discussions were heavily centred around AI, automation, manufacturing innovation, and the future of operational efficiency across UK industry.
It was great to hear perspectives from businesses across different sectors and see how rapidly conversations around automation technologies are continuing to evolve. From AI-driven decision making to smarter warehouse operations and process optimisation, there was a clear focus on how businesses can improve efficiency while preparing for future growth.
Events like this are always valuable for us as a business, not only for sharing ideas and insights, but also for understanding the challenges and opportunities companies are currently facing across manufacturing, logistics, and warehousing.
With automation continuing to become a bigger topic across UK industry, it was encouraging to see just how much momentum there is behind innovation and operational improvement.
Major Projects Continuing Across the UK
Alongside industry events and planning for the months ahead, our team have continued supporting several major customer projects across the UK.
A number of our team members have spent large parts of May away on-site working on ongoing installations, system upgrades, and customer support projects. While many of these projects are still underway and can’t yet be shared publicly, there are some exciting systems currently progressing behind the scenes that we’re looking forward to showcasing in the near future.
As always, much of the work happens long before the final photos and videos are released, and this month has involved plenty of preparation, coordination, testing, and installation activity across multiple customer sites.
We’re hoping to share more updates, footage, and completed project content very soon.
Preparing for the New Unit
One of the biggest milestones for the business right now is that we are finally about to receive the keys to our new unit.
This is something we’ve been working towards for quite some time, and we’re incredibly excited about what the space will allow us to do moving forward.
The new unit will become an important operational base for the group, while also giving us the opportunity to create far more practical and hands-on content around the systems and equipment we work with every day.
Once everything is in place, customers can expect to see much more:
- Demo video content
- Product walkthroughs
- Equipment testing and setup footage
- Behind-the-scenes project updates
- Educational warehouse automation content
- Live machine demonstrations
The space will also help us better support demonstrations, customer visits, and internal preparation work as the business continues to grow.
There’s a lot of planning currently happening behind the scenes, and we’re looking forward to finally being able to start sharing more from the new facility over the coming months.
Looking Ahead
As we move into June, there’s a real sense of momentum building across the business.
With the new unit nearly ready, several major projects progressing, and more live content planned for the months ahead, there’s plenty happening behind the scenes that we’re excited to start revealing soon.
