There’s plenty to share from North Automation Group as we head into October. With new demo equipment due to arrive at our Gateshead unit, a recent return visit to Simply Thank You and an exciting new conveyor project underway, we’ve been busy both on the road and behind the scenes.
New Demo Equipment Arriving in October
Our demo fleet is growing, with new equipment due to arrive at the unit during October.
We’re excited to start creating content around these machines and introducing them to you properly. From demonstrations to closer looks at how they work, we’ll be sharing videos to help you understand their features and where they could fit into your operation.
The arrivals will also bring us another step closer to welcoming visitors to the unit to see the equipment for themselves.
Back Behind the Scenes at Simply Thank You
We were out on plenty of site visits throughout September, but one of the highlights was returning to Simply Thank You to see the conveyors we installed earlier this year in action.
It was lovely to see the system being used, capture fresh footage and speak with Mark, their Managing Director, about his experience of the project.
We also had the chance to interview Mark beside the conveyors, hearing his thoughts on the system and the difference it has made to their operation.
A big thank you to Mark and the Simply Thank You team for welcoming us back and taking the time to speak with us. We’re looking forward to sharing the interview and more footage from our visit soon!
A New Conveyor Project Underway
We’re also excited to be working on a new mezzanine packing line project for Alliance Automotive Logistics.
The system will connect packing areas across two mezzanine levels, using a spiral conveyor to carry packed boxes and totes down to the ground floor. From there, a sorting system will direct them to the appropriate lanes.
It’s a great example of how different conveyor elements can work together to move orders between floors and through the next stage of an operation.
We’ll share more as the project progresses.
Getting Ready to Welcome Visitors
Back at our Gateshead unit, preparations aren’t just about the equipment. We’re also getting a new kitchen fitted, ready for plenty of teas and coffees when we start welcoming visitors!
Alongside the growing demo fleet, these finishing touches are helping us get the space ready for customer visits, demonstrations and conversations about upcoming projects.
